09The Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City (SP GenSan) with the support of the Bureau of Fire Protection GenSan (BFP GenSan) held a fire safety seminar, followed by a fire drill in support of the Fire Prevention Month celebration. During the activity, personnel from BFP Gensan also conducted an inspection and evaluation of the SP Building. “BFP GenSan will provide us with a report of their findings after their inspection so that we will know what are additional steps that we should take in the event of a fire or an emergency,” Vice Mayor Rosalita “Nanay Lita” Nuñez said. “I urge my fellow government workers to participate in the Fire Prevention Month celebration by conducting drills and allowing the Bureau of Fire to inspect your buildings and office spaces for all our safety,” Nanay Lita added.
