The Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City has been recognized as the Regional Winner in the Highly Urbanized City Category of the 2025 Local Legislative Awards (LLA), after garnering an outstanding 95% performance rating from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII.
The award was presented during the Pasidungog 2025 ceremonies on November 11, 2025, at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
City Mayor Lorelie G. Pacquiao, Hon. Ralph Ronald Yumang representing Vice Mayor Atty. Jose Edmar Yumang, Hon. Richard Atendido, Hon. Elizabeth Bagonoc, Hon. Jonathan Blando, SP Secretary Atty. Rosendo Roque, received the award, underscoring the Sanggunianโs dedication to transparency, accountability, and legislative excellence.
The City Government of General Santos also earned multiple awards in other categories, highlighting the cityโs commitment to quality governance and public service.
