MAKATI CITY (September 28, 2022) – Vice Mayor Rosalita “Nanay Lita” Nuñez push for better internet connectivity to promote equality and growth during the Improving Broadband Internet Connectivity in Cities and LGU program hosted by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), and the League of Cities of the Philippines at the Diamond Residences in Makati on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Nanay Lita highlighted the need for improved internet connection as an equalizer to help hasten the improvement of other areas outside of the central metropolitan. “After the pandemic, we notice that quality of education has dropped, better internet connectivity in schools and at home can help address that problem. As servant leaders, we can leverage better internet connectivity to improve good governance and service,” Nanay Lita saidduring the event.
