GENERAL SANTOS CITY (August 24, 2022) – The Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City (SP GenSan), answered the call of the national government to actively participate and support the PinasLakas Booster Vaccination Campaign of the Department of Health (DOH) by hosting a COVID-19 vaccination drive at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Lobby during their 4th Regular Session on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Vice Mayor Rosalita “Nanay Lita” Nuñez led the vaccination efforts along with other members of the 20th Council and the staff of the Sangguniang Panlungsod who have not yet taken their COVID-19 booster shots. “It is important that we support this campaign para makabalik na tayo sa normal na buhay like in other countries. All our gains in the fight against COVID-19 will be for nothing if we will have a breakout of cases and our healthcare facilities will be overwhelmed. Kaya magpa-bakuna tayo and magpa-booster,” Nanay Lita said.
