The 19th Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of General Santos City headed by its outgoing City Vice Mayor and Congressman-elect, Honorable Ton Acharon, conducted the 1st Sangguniang Panlungsod Transition Conference Program on June 27, 2022 at the SP Session Hall. During its transition, responsibilities, assets, workforce, and documents were properly turned over to the newly elected City Vice Mayor, Honorable Rosalita T. Nuñez, and to the incoming members of the 20th Sangguniang Panlungsod, this City.
During the event, Vice Mayor Acharon handed over the gavel and banner of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Office to incoming Vice Mayor Nuñez which signified the transfer of leadership.
This transition, with the presence of incoming Honorable Members of the 20th Sangguniang Panlungsod, Honorables Jose Orlando Acharon, Ma. Lourdes Casabuena, Vandyke Congson, Elizabeth Bagonoc, Jonathan Blando, Kan Balleque, Virginia Llido, Edgar Acharon, Ms. Rilimin Sandoval, City Director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Atty. Rosendo A. Roque, SP Secretary, Ms. Rosalinda L. Mondido, Assistant Secretary, Division Chiefs, and employees of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
